What: The Eugene City Council has on its budget for Tuesday a resolution authorizing city borrowing for the Riverfront Development Project; an ordinance to incorporate state updates into the multi-unit property tax exemption green building and construction deadline provisions; an ordinance on the low-income rental housing property tax exemption; and a resolution adopting amended standards for processing low-income rental housing property tax exemption applications.

Springfield City Council

Details: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday work session, Springfield City Hall, 225 Fifth St. (attend online at attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/415771932195567884; meeting ID 502-474-819).

What: At its work session Tuesday, the Springfield City Council will be asked to give direction to staff by establishing recommended renewal rates for the city’s Fire and Life Safety Special Operating Levy for funding a fifth three-person engine crew at Fire Station No. 3. The current levy expires in 2021. The council could make a decision on altering the rate in July.

The Lane County Board of Commissioners does not meet this week.
