() has been awarded a US$4mln cybersecurity contract from a long-standing government defence department customer.
The networking technology specialist said it will deliver additional hardware and software to the customer as it rolls out BATM’s solution to encompass more employees.
With this latest order, the company said the total contracted revenue for the deal to date is now over US$18mln.
“The recurring contracts show the customer’s satisfaction with our cybersecurity products and services and demonstrates the benefits that our solutions bring.
“We believe that there are unique advantages to our security systems and we look forward to continuing to expand our customer base for our cybersecurity offering”, said BATM chief executive Zvi Marom.
House broker Shore Capital said the order was “further evidence of the strength on BATM’s technical ability in cyber and represents an important reference site for its solution to other clients in the future”.
The shares were 4.6% lower at 41.5p in mid-morning trading on Monday.
